I have been the angry, unsatisfied and bitter wife for the last nine years. I'm married to a man who has absolutely no respect for the marriage institution. He has had more girlfriends than I have changed my hair since we got married. He started cheating on me months after our wedding in 2004 when I was pregnant. And it hasn't stopped ever since. Every other day a different girl, a different situation, a lot of drama. Initially he would lie or try to cover up when I ask him questions or catch him but now he tells me to go to hell and leave the marriage if I was no longer satisfied.

Well, I have four kids and I don't plan to be a single mother in this kind of environment so I'm staying put in my marriage but I'm done being the victim. Yes, I have started cheating on my husband. I am proud to say I have a boyfriend who I have regular, satisfying sex with. And I have absolutely no plans of being the faithful wife ever again. Once this affair ends, I'm starting a new one. There's no going back now. As long as he's cheating on me, I will be cheating on me. I smile a lot these days and it's not just Jesus putting the smile on my face. This is the happiest I have been in at least 8 years. And I also discovered that quite a number of my female friends have been cheating on their husbands for years now. WizKid Signs Up 2 More Producers Into His Label

Wizkid made the announcement of two new producers into the label yesterday, who are brothers. The two beats makers are Mutay and Zei well known as Legendury Beats.

The duo have worked with Wizkid before and other top Nigerian music stars. They have produced hit tracks which made waves across Africa.

“It’s official, Mutay and Zei of Legendury Beats now on Star Boy Ent. We are growing,” Wizkid announced on Saturday.

Legendury Beats is credited with Brymo’s ‘Ara’, Wizkid’s ‘Azonto’, Mo’Cheddah’s ‘Ko Ma Roll’, Tillaman’s ‘Ko Ma Roll’ amongst many others.

Wizkid now has three music producers signed under his new label. A UK-based music producer, Maleek was signed some days ago.

6 Things Never To Do On A First Date

If you are reading this article, it means that on some level, you are thinking about venturing back out into the world of dating after a loss, a divorce or a break up. For the Ladies

Don't dress overly provocatively on the first date. I personally love to push fashion envelopes and take every opportunity to do so, but only at the appropriate time -- and when I was dating, that "appropriate time" would not be on the very first date. When choosing that super-important outfit for a first date, ask yourself, "What kind of message do I want to send?" Wearing something cute and on-trend that shows you off in a flattering way will get you sincere compliments; wearing something that reveals too much can get you into a sincere wrestling match. In other words, don't work the séxy too soon.

For the Gentlemen

Guys, I am going to share a secret with you: Women truly appreciate a man who knows how to dress. It shows that you care about what she thinks and that you care about the impression that you want to make. I realize that many of you prefer to be casual, but you do not want to be toocasual. Now, you obviously do not have to wear a suit to a coffee date at the beach, but nice jeans and a shirt on a movie date will be appreciated far more than shorts and flip-flops. Consider the venue that you are going to and use your good judgment -- we really are paying attention.

Don't go anywhere too "romantic": Restaurants lit only by candlelight, servers in tuxedos and strolling violinists are great -- for the tenth date. For a first date? That is way too much pressure on both you and your wallets. Keep the first date "light" -- a coffee date, a lunch date or a casual dinner are all great ideas.

Don't talk about yourself too much: There should be a comfortable conversation going on and conversing takes two people. If you feel like you are talking too much, your date likely feels the same way. Segue by saying, "That's enough about me, let's talk more about you..." and then follow with a question about them.

Don't over-imbibe: Aside from obvious drinking-and-driving concerns, too much alcohol lowers inhibitions and pretty much eliminates common sense. You don't want to say -- or do -- something that you will regret the following day. Limit yourself to two cocktails and then switch to non-alcoholic drinks.

Avoid the Biggest First-Date Taboo of Them All...

No matter how attracted you are to someone; no matter how great the date is going or how beautifully you are getting along -- do not have séx on the first date. Moreover, if someone is trying to pressure you into a séxual situation after knowing you all of two hours...run out the door (and think twice before ever going out with them again!). The only thing that a wonderful first date should lead to is a second date...not breakfast in bed the following morning.

Balotelli ‘tells Real Madrid’: Win and you can have sex with my girlfriend

MARIO Balotelli has apparently taunted Real Madrid’s stars – telling Ronaldo and his teammates they can sleep with his stunning girlfriend if they still make it to the Champions League Final.

Kevin Luciano of Questionmark emerges interim PMAN president

Questionmark Entertainment boss, Kevin Lucciano Gabriel, yesterday April 27th emerged as the new interim president of the Performing Musician Association of Nigerian (PMAN).

Lucciano was appointed after his opponent Mr Skid Ikemefuna stepped down. Popular 90′s musician Mike Okri will serve as Lucciano’s deputy. Okri defeated Oritz Wiliki for the post of PMAN deputy president. Singer Azeezat emerged as the new treasurer while Maureen also known as Mama Entertainment emerged as the second deputy president for the interim government.

As part of his plans for the union, Lucciano stated his desire to bring change to the union, a change that will hopefully attract younger musicians to the union. A new election will be held 18 months from now.

Fans at the Paris concert from Beyonce‘s Mrs. Carter Show World Tour got a taste of something new from Queen B when the singer performed “Grown Woman” for the sold-out crowd at Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy.

Woman falls from Mountain after texting while walking

A woman who was preoccupied with texting while walking fell off a 60 foot cliff and was severely injured, according to reports in the news media.

Emergency crews in Kodiak say they had to overcome the challenges of a cliff and an incoming tide to rescue the woman who fell 60 feet down on rocks. Maria Pestrikoff survived the fall and is recovering in a hospital in Anchorage. The local newspaper reported that she slipped while she was while texting on her phone while she tried to throw a cigarette butt off the edge of the cliff.

Her friend Anthony Burke heard her screams from the rocks below and called emergency services. Firefighters from the Bayside and Kodiak fire departments rushed to the scene of the accident. Pestrikoff was only 10 feet from the incoming tide. She was placed on a stretcher and driven off the cliff by an ambulance.

Anthony Burke, a friend, wrote in the newspaper, "Lesson learned, do not leave the door open, no texting or smoking cigarettes on a slippery cliff with a long fall down to the rocks."

How Celebrities Misused Their Positions In Government

Some years ago, it was unthinkable that a Nigerian artiste would be given the opportunity to serve in any official capacity in government. In those days, it did not matter if an artiste had a good educational background or not. As long as he had chosen to earn his living as musician or actor over ‘real’ professions, he was regarded as no better than a dreg of the human society and treated as such.

But over the years, the artist managed to win some respect from the same people that had despised and treated him like an outcast. Nowadays, he is at times not only seen as a role model, he is also accepted as an important member of the society.

Some popular actors and actresses, as well as music stars, have been privileged to strut the corridors of power with a pronounced swagger. Within the last few years, a few artistes have been appointed to strategic positions in government, with most of them coming from Nollywood.

For some of these people, all that matters is the opportunity to serve their country or respective states in a different capacity, while the lure of power and a rare opportunity to line their pockets with stolen funds might be the driving factor for the others.

But the compelling question is: how well have these ‘privileged’ movie and music stars fared in their appointments? How much have they impacted on the lives of the same that they have set out to serve? Perhaps a glance at the profiles of a few, such as Sam Dede, Hilda Dokubo, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Nkiru Sylvanus, Ejike Asiegbu and Tony Muonagor, aka Tony One-Week, will provide the answers.

Sometime in May, 2012, when he was appointed Director General of the Rivers State Tourism Development Agency, the news was well received among his numerous fans across the country. Uncle Sam’s colleagues at the University of Port Hacourt, where he has taught drama for many years and raised many fellow Thespians to stardom, and the ones in Nollywood had rejoiced with him. At the time, the general feeling was that the appointment was well earned.

In an interview published in a national newspaper (not PUNCH), Dede himself had speedily declared his ‘manifesto’. Among other things, he had pledged to bring the tourism potentials of Rivers State to limelight.

The actor had given the assurance that within a few months of his appointment, there would be changes. Perhaps to prove that he was not mincing words, he chose the annual carnival, which is a major cultural and tourism event in the state, as a referent point and promised the people that the next edition of the event would be an “experience of a lifetime”.

So far, some observers have expressed the opinion that the seasoned actor has not done badly in his new appointment, though it might take a while to fully realise his goals for tourism in Rivers. But there is still this fear that the trappings of power may lure him to embrace politics fully. Only time will tell.

 

 

                                                   Hilda Dokubo

Apart from being a pioneer of what is now known as the Nigerian movie industry, Hilda Dokubo’s fierce advocacy for the less privileged and her penchant to stand up against social injustice is well known among her fans. So when she was named as a Special Adviser on Youth Matters to former Governor Peter Odili a few years ago, many people were not surprised.

The job had expectedly taken away the Nollywood diva from her fans for a while. But within that period, she worked hard to make a difference in the lives of the youths of the state. One of her notable achievements was the extension of the perks of the Niger Delta Amnesty Programme to about 50 women whom she identified as ex-militants.

With support from the Special Adviser to the President on Amnesty Programme, Kingsley Kuku, the women were made to undergo a 12-month training and skills acquisition programme at the Centre for Creativity Arts Education in Port Harcourt. Dokubo is the Director of the Centre

 

                                            Richard Mofe-Damijo

Popularly known as RMD, Mofe-Damijo’s appointment, first as a Special Adviser on Culture and Tourism to Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta State, and later, as Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, did not come as a surprise to stakeholders in that sector. Many of them actually felt the appointments were overdue at the time because he had already distinguished himself as an A-list actor and an activist committed to the development of the arts, culture and tourism sector in the state.

One of RMD’s contributions to this sector, even before his admission to Government House in Asaba, was his brave effort to draw attention to the flourishing comedy industry in the state. Of course, only a few people will forget ‘Warri go bow’, an annual carnival-like comedy event that featured performances by both established and aspiring stand-up comedians of Delta origin drawn from different parts of the country.

But the actor’s image suffered a serious dent, not too long ago, when a report published online by a popular Internet portal allegedly named him as an accomplice in a N50m fraud discovered in the ministry headed by him.

The allegation went viral on the Internet and an additional rumour that he was wanted by the EFCC circulated widely. After a long silence. The actor, however, declared the allegation was untrue.

Ever since Governor Rochas Okorocha appointed her his Special Adviser on Public Affairs, this pretty and soft-spoken Nollywood actress seems to have been busy jumping from one trouble to another. First, shortly after she had settled to her new job, she was kidnapped and kept incommunicado for a while until she regained her freedom.

Next, after she was released by the kidnappers, it was rumoured that she secretly married one Umar Sani, alleged to be an aide to Vice President Namadi Sambo. But both of them separately denied the rumour.

Since both events have served as distractions to the actress, it is doubtful if she has had a chance to make any impact in the lives of the people.

 

         Ejike Asiegbu

Ejike Asiegbu was appointed Special Assistant on Entertainment to Governor Theodore Orji of Abia State. For the actor, who had previously served as the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, it was a welcome diversion. With a successful career that spanned more than two decades, the appointment was seen at the time as deserving, too.

However, it is not known if his tenure yielded any notable results in terms of the development of the Abia entertainment industry.

Kenny Ogungbe, COSON Boss Exchange Hot Words At Nig Entertainment Conference

The Nigerian Entertainment Conference held over the weekend at the Grand ball room of the Eko Hotel and suites, Victoria Island, Lagos was nearly marred by violent exchange of words between Kennis Music Boss Mr. Kenny Ogungbe and Chairman of Copyright Society of Nigeria COSON, Chief Tony Okoroji.

Chief Tony Okoroji had confronted Kenny Ogungbe in the presence of journalists for daring to say in public that COSON owed him (Kenny Ogungbe) money.

“How could he say such a thing? And in public?” Chief Okorogie fumed.

Kenny Ogungbe and Chief Okoriji shortly before the exchanges Kenny Ogungbe on his part remained resilient, insisting he would stand by his words. They exchanged hot, abusive words impossible to publish including the F word as they were pulled apart by concerned friends who feared the brawl may soon go physical.

Kenny Ogungbe went on to say “After now, if anything happens to me, it is on your head”

The incident happened immediately after the first session of the conference where Mr. Kenny Ogungbe had been amongst a panel of discussants along side Cool DJ Jimmy Jat, Sound Sultan, MI and Weird MC during which pertinent industry issues had been raised.

The panel before taking questions from participants discussed “Looking at the music scene through the eyes of talents, labels, investors, consumers, regulatory bodies. The role of an artiste in the digital age and lastly, surviving in a peculiar industry like Nigeria.

However Weird MC in her opening had raised questions on the “exploitation of our works”. She noted that the music industry is no longer about just entertainment but a business that should be accounted for. She claimed that music properties of artistes were being exploited with no form of payments made as settlements.

Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON) is Nigeria’s sole government approved collective management organization for musical works and sound recordings. Weird MC specifically asked the society if they had any kind of international affiliations with international music copyright regulatory bodies to help check the exploitation of works put out by Nigerian artistes.

According to her “We need to address the International Affiliations involved cause this is a business.

Kenny Ogungbe had stepped out after the panel to re-emphasis these statements made by Weird MC to reporters before making the comments that infuriated Chief Okoroji.

After the heated argument, both were too angry to speak further on the testy issue.

Micheal Jackson's Brother Dumps Baby Mama, Rufuses to Take care of Son

Jermaine Jackson is downright refusing to pay his child support bills — so says his baby mama Alejandra Jackson, who’s accusing him of falling behind on payments yet again … this time to the tune of $30,000.

L.A.’s Child Support Services Department has filed legal docs asking a judge to hold Jermaine in contempt for failing to meet his child support obligation for April 2012 through April 2013.

According to the CSSD, Jermaine was ordered to pay $3,000 a month in support for his two teenage sons, Jermajesty and Jaafar (totaling $36,000 per year) but failed to make any monthly payment in full.

The CSSD claims Jermaine sporadically paid a total of $5,621 throughout the year … and allegedly still owes $30,378.

The CSSD says Jermaine is guilty of 12 counts of contempt — one for each month — and it wants him sentenced to 60 days in jail if he doesn’t pay up by August … when there will be a hearing to address the issue. Calls to Jermaine’s camp weren’t returned.

You’ll recall, Jermaine fell behind roughly $90,000 in child support back in 2011 — but he settled with Alejandra for $80,000 instead.
