Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde:The woman should give the man the respect as the head of the home and also prove herself as a worthy co-pilot-

One of the problems with the people in this world is, women thinking they can be the man, they don't need a man, they are better than men, what men can do a woman can do better. But honestly, who are we kidding? In a lot of cases, yes...but in most cases NO. You can not take the place of a man, it's GOD's design and it will happen the way he has orchestrated it. So therefore I totally agree with Omotola on this one, what are your thoughts?

Omotola, in a recent Interview with Punch talked about how a woman can have a successful marriage, the sultry actress said:

I don’t believe in gender equality. I do not believe that God made man and woman to be equal in any way. I believe that in every organised institution, there is always a head and an assistant. It doesn’t mean that one should take the other for granted, or disrespect the other. I believe the husband is the head of the home and the wife is an assistant. My husband is a pilot, I have flown with him several times and I understood that here is a captain and a co-pilot. They are both responsible for the passengers’ lives. But when there is a final decision to make, it is up to the captain to make it. He is more experienced and the one with the responsibility.
But any mature captain will not ignore his co-pilot because the co-pilot is not a cabin attendant. He is there for a reason. It just depends on how you understand and play your roles. I believe women should understand this. When a woman starts a struggle for power tussle with him, it tends to cause friction in the home. The woman should give the man the respect as the head of the home and also prove herself as a worthy co-pilot. He needs to see you as a reliable co-pilot. Sometimes, he may not be the one running the house day-to-day, you are the one to take decisions but you have to do it in such a manner that he is comfortable enough to see you as someone he can rely on.

When you have a proud and egocentric husband, hand him over to God. If you feel like your life is being threatened, or that of your children, get yourself out of that situation. You owe your children that. Try separation for a while, but before that, you must have tried other things. I do not believe that people should throw in the towel in their marriage at every flimsy excuse. You must have been a diligent wife and tried prayers and intervention. If all those fail, then you can remove yourself from that situation. Also, couples should be friends and communicate. What we call love sometimes fizzles out. True love comes from friendship. When you don’t feel those initial sparks, friendship is what keeps you together, until when the spark comes again.

Nicki Minaj In Court Battle With Wig Maker Terrence Davidson, Sued For $30million.

Nicki Minaj has a case to answer in court has she is being sued for $30 million by her ex-wig maker/hair stylist, Terrence Davidson.
On February 21, Davidson filed a suit against Minaj in Atlanta claiming that the singer/rapper breached their deal and went ahead to sell his products on her website.
Speaking to CNN, Davidson and his attorney, Christopher Chestnut, said the rapper now markets and sells Davidson’s wig on her website with the accrued money going into her purse, ‘I see these wigs online, People are basically duplicating what I created for Nicki Minaj,’ said Davidson.
Chestnut also added, ‘Nicki Minaj is reaping great success and financial bounty reward for Terrence’s creative expertise, and he is entitled to participate in that. Someone’s got to stand up for the artist. We applaud the fact that she’s making millions, but she’s also got to pay bounty to those whose creative designs she’s making millions off of.’

Davidson claims he’s been making wigs for Minaj since 2010 and also gave her a unique sense of style ranging from blonde to pink wigs. He said they had earlier planned on launching a wig line in the nearest future but the rapper kept mute on that until he saw her posts on her website.

I’ll keep scoring ‘until I am 50’ – Eto’o

Samuel Eto’ohas laughed off the leaked remarks from Chelsea manager José Mourinho questioning his age, joking that if he can manage a hat-trick against Manchester United “at 37” he must have plenty of years left in the tank.
On Wednesday evening, the Blues secured a 1-1 draw in their Champions League last-16 first leg with Galatasaray. The buildup to the match was dominated by comments made in private by the Portuguese concerning his strikers, in particular Eto’o.
Canal Plus broadcast video of Mourinho telling a businessman at a recent sponsor’s event: “The problem with Chelsea is I lack a striker. Eto’o is 32 years old, maybe 35, who knows?”
Mourinho was apoplectic about the remarks being broadcast and said his relationship with Eto’o had not been affected – something the Cameroon forward agrees with after he made light of the comments.
“I am Samuel Eto’o, what can I say?” he told Sky Sports News after the Galatasaray match. “If at 36 and 37 I can score three goals at Manchester United it means that I still have some juice and I can even score until I am 50.
“But I really don’t care, what is really important to me is to give my maximum to the team, to help them to win some titles.”
Eto’o came on as a 68th-minute substitute in Turkey for Fernando Torres, whose goal early in the clash was the ideal response to Mourinho’s leaked remarks.

‘My Husband Has No Issue With My Family’ – Joseph Yobo’s wife, Adaeze

If not mistaken family affairs of this kind should not be for the public to hear not talk less of the media…There has been rumours speculating the media for some weeks now that footballer, Joseph Yobo’s in-laws are extremely angry with him because he is yet to marry his wife, Adaeze traditionally and also another controversy that came up a week ago was the question of the actual age of the Super Eagles captain. All this is not true, Yobo’s Nigeria media representative, Abiola Aloba has said.
“The story is a misrepresentation of Joseph Yobo’s marital status. I spoke with his wife, Adaeze in Istanbul, Turkey few days ago, she just laughed it off. She said it’s only her father who can claim such and not one faceless person, who has no trace or identity.”
“The whole thing is a distraction and should not be taken serious. Her mother has been with her for the past one week. I believe if there was a problem she wouldn’t be staying that long in the first place,” Mr. Aloba added. The Igwes from Iru-Owelle village in Awka, Anambra State are said to recognize the Igba Nkwu more than their white wedding. And without that, the marriage is not yet done.
Joseph Yobo and Adaeze were joined in holy matrimony on December 31, 2009, at the Evangelical Bible Outreach Ministries International, Prayer City, Jos, Plateau State. The couple celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary in December 2013. Presently, they are blessed with a baby boy.
However Football analyst, Dudu Orumen had dropped a bombshell claiming Joseph Yobo has no business in the present Super Eagles squad on the basis that he (Yobo) is 40 and not 33 as he claimed. This is coming at a time the former Everton FC of England defender got a recall to the Nigerian national senior team after almost a year of being left out of the team by coach Stephen Keshi.
His official date of birth as listed online is September 6, 1980, and his place of birth is Kano. The footballer left Fenerbache of Turkey in January after seeing few playing times to join Norwich City FC of England on loan all in an attempt to keep fit and make the final squad of Nigeria’s Super Eagles for the World Cup in Brazil in June 2014.
According to Mr. Aloba, “I have tried reaching him on that issue but I couldn’t. I am not sure he would want to be bothered about age controversy because presently he is concentrating on his career. He just joined Norwich City in England and getting playing time is his priority now and not distraction.”
He said finally.
