Biafran National Guard Declares War On Nigeria, Reveals The Date It Will Begin (Video)

The Biafran National Guard has declared war on the federal republic of Nigeria and has revealed that November 30 2021 will be the day the region will be declared as an independent state.
In a video making the rounds on social media, some armed men who claim to be members of the Biafran National Guard are declaring that they are ready for war.

One of the men is heard saying: “The liberation of Biafra has just begun. Today is Day 2 of our glorious week. You can see Biafran National Guards are already on the ground and they are on the move to go and rescue the prisoners of conscience – Mrs Onyekachi Orji and the rest of them.

“This is Biafran National Guards, as you can see them, they are all on alert. You can see they are ready for war, war for the liberation of Biafra has just begun.”

The man behind the camera also approached some men fuelling their vehicle who revealed that they were ready for war in the country.

As earlier reported by Naija News, the men had a confrontation with the Nigerian Army, leading to the death of one of the Biafran National Guard members.

In a statement made on Thursday, October 28, the Director of Army Public Relations, Onyema Nwachukwu, in a statement confirmed the death of one of the gunmen.

He said: “The assailants, who were heavily armed and conveyed in several vehicles opened fire on the troops’ location, but were met with stiff resistance by the troops. In the encounter, the troops neutralized one gunman, while others abandoned their vehicles and retreated in disarray with gunshot wounds. The troops also recovered a pump-action gun, among others.

“While the criminals withdrew, having been overwhelmed, they were promptly intercepted at Eda by troops of Forward Operating Base Ohaozara in Ebonyi State. The troops recovered additional three vehicles and apprehended one of the gunmen.”

Nnamdi Kanu pleads not guilty to terrorism charges, remains stuck with DSS

Justice Binta Nyako adjourned the case till November 10.

Leader of the Independent People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, pleaded not guilty to an amended seven-count charge during his anticipated court appearance in Abuja on Thursday, October 21, 2021.

The Federal Government in June 2021 re-arrested the separatist to face charges bordering on treasonable felony in connection to his agitation for an independent nation of Biafra.

He was immediately remanded to the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) but the secret police failed to produce him in court for his scheduled July 26 hearing, prompting adjournment to October 21.

The government recently amended Kanu's charges from five to seven, but he pleaded not guilty after they were read to him at a Federal High Court in the capital city on Thursday.

His application to be moved from the custody of the DSS to Kuje Correctional Service Centre was rejected by Justice Binta Nyako.

A similar application, filed in July, to be moved to Kuje was also rejected by the court.

Kanu's legal team has made repeated allegations that he's being subjected to mental and psychological torture in custody of the DSS.

Justice Nyako adjourned the case till November 10.

The Chain Is Finally Broken – Disciple Simon Ekpa Reacts To Nnamdi Kanu In Court Without Handcuffs

simon ekpa and nnamdi kanu
Simon Ekpa, the self-acclaimed disciple of the embattled leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has expressed hope that the dream of actualizing Biafra as a sovereign state for the Southeast would soon be a reality.

The Finnish stated this in a post on his official Facebook page while reacting to the appearance of Kanu in court without handcuff.
It was reported that the secessionist was at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday for the continuation of his trial over allegations of terrorism and treasonable felony.

His request to be moved from the Kuje Correctional Centre from the Department of State Service, DSS, facility to Kuje correctional center was, however, turned down by Justice Binta Nyako who adjourned the case to November 10.

Ekpa in his post, said the removal of the handcuff during Kanu’s appearance, indicated hope for Biafra freedom.

The post reads, “In the past, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu always appeared in the court with hands chained (handcuffs) and he had three count charges against him.

“In 2021 with seven count charges he appeared without a chain (handcuff), let me tell you, it is a sign of Biafra freedom, the chain is broken.

“I am Simon Ekpa, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s Disciple on Biafra Restoration”.
