The Fake Christian Priests Of Japan – A Booming Business

Christians make up only 1.4% of Japan’s 127 million population, but Western “white weddings” now account for around three quarters of all bridal ceremonies, which means Christian priests are in high demand. To meet their clients’ expectations bridal companies have given up on trying to find ordained ministers and have kept requirements to a minimal – men looking foreign-enough to pass as Christians who can speak a little Japanese and perform the ceremony in 20 minutes.
Japan’s love affair with the Christian wedding is believed to have started in the 1980s with the televised weddings of Prince Charles and Lady Diana and was fueled by the nuptials of Japanese pop star Momoe Yamaguchi. People, women especially, were attracted by the idea of celebrating their marriage through a ritual that revolved around love and that elevates the bride to the status of princess even for a short while. Traditional Shinto weddings, on the other hand, encase women in a wig and kimono, and are focused more on the merger of two families.
The Japanese simply  fell in love with the sharp dress code, the kiss and the overall image of Western weddings over their centuries-old traditions. But in order to have a genuine-looking ceremony, they wanted Christian priests, which were pretty hard to find. That started the now famous “foreign fake pastors” trend that saw companies and hotels hiring average foreign gentlemen with minimal knowledge of the Japanese language to perform Christian weddings.
One doesn’t even need to be Christian in order to carry out the task. In fact, the less religious the pastor, the better. The words spoken during a Western-style wedding are important, but companies are just looking for nonreligious guys who can stick to a script, because they realize for the average Japanese this kind of ceremony is more about the image rather than the essence. You can find real Japanese Christian priests to perform the nuptial ritual, but a Western man just fits much better into the picture than an Asian ever would.
Playing Christian priests has become a well-paid acting gig for many foreigners, but the practice is obviously frowned upon by genuine pastors. ”It is a real problem for us. They are not genuine and they give us a bad name,” one of them told the BBC. ”It is important for the bride and groom to have a proper wedding, and they are not getting it from these foreign priests. I have even heard of hotels using staff when they can’t find anyone else.”
Fake priests try to put on a genuine performance, and some even use wedding scripts complete with all the necessary lines to make sure everything goes according to plan. Some of the most popular actors are flown all around Japan to do weddings, while others are hired long-term to perform in spaces designed to look like churches, chapels or cathedrals and built especially for fake weddings. They can earn hundreds of dollars for 20-minute ceremonies for which they have to put on the ceremonious robes, recite a few lines in English or decent Japanese and tell the couples to kiss. It may sound a little sacrilegious, but since it’s all about the image and not the religious aspect, most of the “priests” are fine with it. ”If people are crying by the end of the wedding, I think I have done a good job,” one of them says.

15-Year-Old Killed In Punching Game With Classmate

A high school freshman died after participating in a punching game with a friend last week.
Marquez Oliver, 15, (pictured) had punched his friend in an apparent form of punching tag on Wednesday. In response, the friend approached Oliver and punched him in his chest Thursday. Oliver immediately fell to the ground afterwards, according to witnesses. The incident happened during lunch hour at Normandy High School in Wellston, Mo. “Apparently the victim from what we are hearing had punched the other student yesterday and he said ‘I will get you when I see you next time. I will get you!’ And apparently he just saw him standing in the hallway and ran up and hit him and I guess he wasn’t prepared for it,” said Wellston Police Chief G. Thomas Walker.
School officials attempted to resuscitate Oliver, but he was unresponsive. He was rushed to a local hospital, where doctors declared him dead around 6:30 p.m.
Authorities seem to be classifying the death as an accident. The school provided students with counseling Friday to help them deal with the loss.
“As a district we provided our crisis intervention team which consists of both NSD staff and external mental health partners, and they’ve been at it all morning,” said Chief Administrative Officer Philip Boyd.
Oliver’s family, understandably, is struggling with the news. “It just feels like a nightmare, it just feels like I am still asleep from the other night and I haven’t even woken up yet,” step-mom Janette Oliver told WTLV News. “He loved the world. He loved his family. He loved to be around his family. He loved his friends.”
Juvenile authorities are still deciding on whether to charge Oliver’s friend in his death.

Teen Arrested For Calling 911 To Complain About His Mom

One teen from Vero Beach, Fla., learned the hard way that it’s not against the law for moms to be annoying.

Police arrested Vincent Valvo, 19, after he allegedly called 911 twice on Thursday because ”he didn’t like how his mom was talking to him.”
WTSP reported that authorities warned the teen after his first call that he shouldn’t contact 911 for non-emergencies. Apparently, the message was not received. After his second alleged call — also made to complain about his mother — police arrested Valvo outside his home. He allegedly smelled of alcohol and exhibited slow and slurred speech, according to an Indian River County Sheriff’s Office report obtained by The Smoking Gun.
Valvo was released from jail Thursday afternoon after posting $500 bond, WTSP reported. He was arrested for “abuse of 911.” According to the Sun-Sentinel, this was his third booking in the past year.
The 19-year-old’s non-emergency dial follows a string of unorthodox 911 calls. In February, a Texas woman allegedly called police to have cigarettes delivered to her home. Around the same time, a little boy in Massachusetts dialed 911 to report his mother because he didn’t want to go to bed.

See 8-Year-Old Martin Richard; One Of The Three Victims Of Boston Marathon Bombing

8-year-old Martin Richard was one of the three who died as a result of the Boston Marathon bombings.
Martin’s mother, Denise, and his sister were grievously injured, The Boston Globe reported.
Denise Richard underwent surgery for an injury to her brain, and Martin’s 6-year-old sister lost her leg, WHDH reported. As of 1 p.m. ET Tuesday, both were still hospitalized, the report added.
The boy’s father, William Richard, is a community leader in the Ashmont section of Dorchester, according to the Globe.
“My dear son Martin has died from injuries sustained in the attack on Boston,” Richard said in a statement Tuesday. “My wife and daughter are both recovering from serious injuries. We thank our family and friends, those we know and those we have never met, for their thoughts and prayers. I ask that you continue to pray for my family as we remember Martin. We also ask for your patience and for privacy as we work to simultaneously grieve and recover. Thank you.”
Almost a year ago, Martin wrote four simple words on a sign at school; “No more hurting people”.
He held up the bright blue sign decorated with hearts framing the word “Peace” for a shot. Unfortunately, Martin was more than hurt yesterday, his life was taken.
The picture became difficult for many to look at as it went viral on Tuesday.
Investigations still continue to find the perpetrators of the bombings which marred a beautiful agelong marathon, but a senior US office has said it is unlikely the attack came from outside as there were still no reactions yet from any foreign group.

Maigari: Super Eagles Will Qualify For Brazil 2014.

The president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Mallam Aminu Maigari has predicted the Super Eagles will get their 2014 World Cup qualifying campain back on track with a win in Kenya come June.
Nigeria are currently leading Group F on 5 points from three matches, tied with Malawi.
The Super Eagles needed an extra time goal to force a draw out of the visiting Harambee stars in Calabar, a result that has left the national football team’s campaign for Brazil 2014 an unstable affair.
However, Maigari speaking to MTNFootball.com expressed his confidence in the national team.
“Yes, we were all disappointed we did not beat the Kenyans at home last month, but that’s part of the game. The players were disappointed,” Maigari said.
“Now we have to go and play better in Kenya and win.”
Nigeria have two away games, while Malawi (second on the group table) have two home games with a final clash between the two teams slated for September in Nigeria.
“I am not bothered about whether a team is playing at home or away. The most important thing is to ensure that you are at your best always, whether at home or away,” he argued.
“Nothing stops us from winning away or home. We will go to Kenya and win. God willing we will be in Brazil for the Word cup.”

Hint On How To Know If You Are Dating A Gold Digger

1, Understand what a gold digger is and is not. There’s nothing wrong with a person being concerned about your financial stability. A long-term partnership means depending on each other through the ups and downs, and being financially reliable helps with that to a degree. The difference between a gold digger and someone who values your role as a provider is that the gold digger would abandon you if you lost your ability to provide for them financially.
2, Gold diggers only want to take from you. They always have their hand out. They’re always asking for money for this and that. They drop hints that they’re having trouble paying their bills and often they might even ask you directly for a “loan”. Gold diggers never give you anything. They never offer to help you in anyway. If the person you’re with is constantly discussing your six figure salary and your expensive car, it’s time to say goodbye.
3, When you suggest ways to make money to a gold digger or ask them to pay for something with their own money, they look at you like you’re crazy. A gold digger believes that they have a right to your money. So suggesting that they should use their money when yours is available is an idea they find ridiculous.
4, Pay attention to the questions they ask you. Certain questions which might seem harmless might really be an attempt to judge your financial ability.
How much do you make a year? And what type of car do you drive? Why would she/he ask this question? Because a gold digger is a mobile calculator. They are trying to determine your overall worth and whether being with you is a profitable investment for them.

5, A gold digger won’t encourage you to embark on any expensive projects no matter how essential they are for your progress. If you suggest doing anything that will take a lot of money and affect your lifestyle, a gold digger will be horrified or disgusted and say things like “You’re not really serious, are you?” OR they are ready to call it quits and leave because you are paying attention to “you” instead of “them”.
6, A gold digger is always trying to keep up with the Joneses. She’s always telling you what another girl’s boyfriend bought her and he’s always telling you how his friend’s girlfriend supports him with money. They always want the latest thing in town and they want to buy it with your money not theirs.
7, The only time a gold digger ever shows you genuine affection is when you get paid. If you notice that your partner suddenly becomes more caring when you get money, you definitely have a gold digger on your hands.

How You Can Resist The Temptation Of Cheating On Your Partner

Human beings, by nature, are prone to temptation. Everyone is likely to be tempted to cheat at some point in a relationship. Here are some tips to help you resist the temptation to cheat on your partner.
1, Resist and Flee:
The best way to deal with temptation is to avoid it. Run away from it like it’s a disease. Don’t overestimate your strength and think you can handle it. While it’s natural to find someone attractive ,avoid taking it to the next level. As humans, we always want more, especially when it comes to s*xual attraction. When you step into the world of temptation, you’ll always want more.
2, Think About the Consequences:
People mostly make mistakes because they don’t think about the future. Think about what you’re trying to do. Will it be worth it in the end? Imagine what would happen if your partner finds out. Also remember, that in the end, cheating makes you feel horrible. Before you do it, think about what you stand to lose.
3, Put Yourself in Your Partner’s Shoes:
The golden rule applies here. Do unto others as you’d like to be done to you. Would you like to be cheated on? I’m guessing the answer is no. Consider your partner’s feelings and imagine if you were in their position. That should do the trick.
4, Be Determined:
Human beings are capable of very amazing things when they put in their best. You are stronger than you realize. Determination is the key to success in any endeavour. Just be determined not to cheat and it will do wonders.
5, Prepare Yourself:
The greatest weapon of battle is the element of surprise. Don’t let yourself be caught by surprise. You are human and you will definitely be tempted. Preparation will ensure that you’re ready to handle the problem when it arises.
Knowing how to resist temptation in love isn’t about hiding from temptation. It’s about genuinely understanding that what you share with your own partner is a lot more special, and worth more than any affair in the entire world.

Kidnappers of Lagos LG boss demand N158m ransom

Kidnappers of the Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Lagos State, Mr. Kehinde Bamigbetan, have demanded N158 million ransom.
Bamigbetan was kidnapped at about 11pm on Monday on his way home at Ona Iwa Mimo Street, near Egbe Bridge in Ejigbo.
A senior Ejigbo LCDA official said yesterday that the kidnappers called Bamigbetan’s wife at about 4.00am and demanded the $1 million ransom (about N158 million) and warned her not to inform the police.
Bamigbetan was with his driver, Abiodun Olayiwola, in his black SUV with customised registration number Lagos KOK when the gunmen waylaid them.
The matter has been reported at Ejigbo Police Station. His SUV was badly damaged by an electric pole which stopped it while the driver tried to escape from the gunmen.
All efforts to speak with his wife, Mrs Fatimah Bamigbetan, failed as she was shielded from journalists.
His driver, Olayiwola, who escaped with bruises all over his body, said they were ambushed by four gunmen a few metres away from his boss’s residence.
He said immediately he saw the kidnappers, he attempted to escape with his boss, but the poor state of the road made it impossible.
Olayiwola said: “When I saw them, I put the SUV in reverse gear. They gave us a hot chase and started shooting in the air.
“They would not have succeeded in kidnapping him if the road is good. I tried my best to ensure that we escaped, but I was not seeing properly because it was very dark.
“The SUV was eventually halted by an electric pole and we could not proceed further. I managed to squeeze myself out of the badly damaged vehicle and escaped. “I don’t know the kind of vehicle they came with and I could not recognise them because it was very dark.”
The Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) Publicity Secretary in Lagos State, Mr. Joe Igbokwe, condemned the kidnapping. Igbokwe said: “There is no place for kidnappers in Lagos State.
The kidnappers should release Bamigbetan in the next 12 hours before we get at them. Nobody does anything funny in Lagos and gets away with it.”
The state House of Assembly Committee Chairman on Local Government Administration and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Moshood Oshun, described the incident as unfortunate, adding that it was lamentable that such evil was creeping into the state.
He said: “Lagos has always enjoyed peace because the state government has been proactive. If the Federal Government is also doing its best like Lagos, the crime rate in the country would have become a thing of the past.”
He said the development further underscored the call for the establishment of state police. Vice-Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA, Alhaji Monsuru Bello Obe, declined to speak with journalists over the incident, saying: “There is a directive that we should not speak with the media or grant any interview in order not to scuttle investigation into this matter.”
He said: “We will speak with the media at the appropriate time. As you can see, we are not in the best of mood for now, please respect our privacy.”
Meanwhile, the founder of Oodua People’s Congress (OPC), Dr Federick Fasehun, has ordered his members to launch a manhunt for Bamigbetan. Fasehun yesterday gave the directive in a statement in Lagos.
He directed his members in the South-West to collaborate with security agents to organise the search for the kidnapped council boss. Fasehun, however, called on the kidnappers to immediately release of the council chairman in the interest of peace.
He said: “We just heard about this unfortunate incident, which has filtered through Lagos State and is all over the Internet.
“Kehinde Bamigbetan is our son, a Yoruba man. Whoever touches any Yoruba man touches the apple’s eye of OPC and will pay dearly for it.
“We warn whoever is behind this evil act that Bamigbetan must be released unharmed. Not one strand of his hair must be hurt”. Fasheun said that the kidnappers had made the worst mistake of their evil career.
It will be recalled that OPC last October assisted in the rescuing of Muibat, wife of the Osun State House of Assembly Speaker, Mr Nojeem Salaam, which resulted in the death of two of her abductors.

Married Man Caught Pants Down With A Married Female Pastor

There was drama on Sunday night when a married female pastor was evicted from her matrimonial home after she was reportedly caught pants down with a married man in their matrimonial bed.

Pastor Tsitsi Mukwamba, was reportedly caught by her husband after news that she was having extra-marital affairs with young males reached her husband. The man whom she was caught with in bed reportedly died mysteriously the same day.

Police spokesperson confirmed the sudden-death report after a misunderstanding between the deceased and his girlfriend.

“Police are still investigating a sudden death of the deceased following a misunderstanding between the deceased and his girlfriend. The deceased’s wife reported that the deceased downed poisonous pesticide at his girlfriend’s house following a misunderstanding with the suspect. The deceased failed to justify to his wife how he was poisoned in the neighborhood when he reported to her that he was coming from another state.

“And police are treating it as a suicide case and investigations are in progress,” said InspChibanda. Our news crew visited the house on Sunday night and found multitudes of residents milling around the house intending to mete instant justice on Pastor Tsitsi. Police had to be called in to control and disperse the crowd and she was smuggled out of the house by her husband who went and dumped her at Machipisa Police Station.

“We want to teach her the correct way she is supposed to preach to the congregation when she is called the woman of God at church,” one of the residents was heard saying.

Confronted for comment, the husband, identified as Baba Anesu said: “This is a family affair which does not need media coverage. There is nothing going on, people just want her to pay back their debts. This is just mob psychology,” he disguised.

Tsitsi could not entertain questions and she sought refuge in a cab before it sped off. The now deceased man is understood to have narrated everything to his wife and was rushed to a local doctor where he died that very night.

20 year old boy dies from a heart attack after dancing to Gangnam Style

A young man suffered a heart attack and died after dancing to Gangnam Style at a Christmas party, an inquest has heard.
Lee Whitehead, 20, collapsed on the floor of the pub but friends initially thought he was doing another dance move.
Lee, from Hull, East Yorkshire, was suffering from a rare undiagnosed heart condition which was described as like a 'ticking time bomb'.

Paramedics were called and shocked his heart three times but he could not be saved and he was pronounced dead just half an hour later.

Lee had been dancing with two girls to the popular South Korean song which became an internet sensation shortly before he collapsed.

Gangnam death: Lee Whitehead, 20, pictured holding his god-daughter Mia-Scarlett, collapsed and died after dancing to Gangnam Style

He had been at a festive party at the Half Moon pub, in Hull, on December 21 last year, when he collapsed, the inquest heard.
His mother Lisa said she took comfort from knowing he died while having fun, dancing to one of his favourite songs.
Lisa, 41, said: 'He was always making people laugh and had so many friends.
'Lee just loved life and was very funny, he even dressed up as a woman once to entertain people. He loved to mess about but he was also very helpful and a hard worker.'
Doctors only discovered after his death that he was suffering from cardiomyopathy.
School friend Emma Brown, who was dancing alongside him when he collapsed, said she initially thought he was 'play acting'.
Emma added: 'I'd known him since school in Market Weighton and just thought he was doing some kind of dance move on the floor.
'Then I realised he wasn't moving and there was blood on his nose. That's when I knew something was seriously wrong.
'I used my handbag for a head support and people were helping him while they waited for the ambulance to arrive.'

Lee's father was met by police and paramedics when he arrived at the pub and saw his son lying on the floor.
'I had a few moments with him before he was moved,' said Richard.
'Lee was a loud and lovely lad who enjoyed partying. He will be missed by so many people.'
Police Constable Stephen Atkinson said there were no suspicious circumstances and, although Lee had a low level of alcohol in his system, toxicology results showed it had not contributed to his death.
Doctors could not determine the cause of death until they discovered he had an unusually enlarged heart, which was sent to experts in Sheffield for further tests.
Dr Laszlo Karsai, consultant histopathologist, said it was an 'extremely rare case' and the heart muscle disease had not been detected before Lee died.
He added: 'Lee was a ticking time bomb. It could have happened at any time and physical activity like dancing could have provoked the sudden cardiac arrest.'
Lee was a devoted godfather to one-year-old Mia Allinson, his friend Shannon's daughter and worked with his father as a production operative at a trailer factory.

Beyonce Shows Nipplès (LOOK)

BEYONCÉ shows her playful side as she takes to the stage in an outfit adorned with fake nipples.

The singer ensured the opening night of her world tour didn’t go unnoticed thanks to a series of sexy outfits she donned throughout the show in Belgrade, Serbia.
Pick of the bunch was a glittery figure-hugging costume that created the illusion she was performing in the nude.
Dark shadings at the contours of her boobs and two pointy lumps replicating her nipples must have initially fooled fans into believing she was baring all.
