What i told my players at half time- Keshi

Stephen-Keshi580

The Big Boss in the post-match conference attended by PREMIUM TIMES said he told his players that they were simply not playing their game.
“What I told them at half time was that we were not the one playing like that, I told them they were giving too much respect to the Moroccans.
Even though they are a good team, they don’t deserve such from us, we are supposed to take our game to them and that is what they did in the second half.
I told them I want to see the same character or more like they displayed in the game against Bafana Bafana and they did that,” he said.
Also, the captain of the Eagles, Chigozie Agbim, said his colleagues rightly admitted they were only a shadow of themselves in the first half and made the decision to right their wrongs in the second half.
The goalkeeper also stated the players’ resolve not to return to Nigeria but wait for the final of the tournament and possibly lift the trophy.
Keshi is not new to masterminding comebacks as he similarly did with the Eagles of Mali in 2010 to come back from four goals down to tie Angola 4-4 in an Africa Nations Cup match.
“Yes I remember the Mali game but this one today is something else,” the Eagles coach said.

British Pensioner Sentenced To Death For Blasphemy In Pakistan Despite Mental Illness

17712398-3057627 (1)

A 65-year-old British man was sentenced to death in Pakistan for blasphemy — even though he is mentally ill.
Mohammed Asghar has spent four years in jail after he was arrested after writing letters to people claiming he was a prophet.
But a medical panel throughout a defence argument Asghar – believed to have family in Scotland – he had a history of mental illness.
Even his lawyer, Sara Bilal was forcibly removed from the case by the judge and proceedings were carried out behind closed doors.
But she intends to appeal the verdict, delivered just late on Thursday, only hours before Friday prayer day.
Some observers say the capital punishment order is unlikely to be carried out because the country has had a moratorium on the death penalty since 2008.
Pakistan’s controversial blasphemy laws carry a potential death sentence for anyone deemed to have insulted Islam.
But several recent cases have prompted international concern, and critics argue the blasphemy laws are frequently misused to settle personal scores and that members of minority groups are also unfairly targeted.
In 2012 the arrest of a young Christian girl, Rimsha, on blasphemy charges provoked international outrage. After being detained in a high security prison for several weeks she was eventually released and her family subsequently fled to Canada.
Blasphemy is a highly sensitive issue in Pakistan, where 97% of the population are Muslim.
Muslims constitute a majority of those prosecuted, followed by the minority Ahmadi community.

Photo: Rapper, Snoop Dogg’s intense smoking attracts firefighters to his hotel room in Australia (PHOTO)

Popular American rapper, Snoop Dogg announced his presence at a hotel in Australia in a very weird way.
According to celebrity news website, TMZ , the rapper took the word “smoking like a chimney” to a whole new level on Thursday night, as smoke filled his room.
The intense smoke was said to have triggered a fire alarm in the hotel room as firefighters ran into the rapper’s room thinking there was a fire outbreak.
This was how TMZ reported the incident:

Snoop Dogg took the meaning of hotbox to a whole new level Thursday night … when he smoked out his Australian hotel room so intensely, firefighters RACED to the scene thinking there was a real fire!
Here’s what went down … cops say “smoke from an unidentified source” triggered a fire alarm around 10am … and firefighters who happened to be in the hotel rushed up to the scene to investigate the situation.
But when they got to the room, the firefighters quickly realized there was no fire … just a ton of smoke (duh, it’s Snoop) … though officials won’t say if weed was involved.
Once the situation calmed down, Snoop actually took some Instagram pics with the responders … and talked about how he always wanted to be a firefighter.
He does enjoy getting blazed.
