UPDATE: Tuface And Josephine Anenih Escape Death In Averted Plane Crash

A very big disaster was averted last Sunday, May 19th, when an SAA South African Airways Airbus A340-600, registration ZS-SNG performing flight SA-60 from Johannesburg (South Africa) to Lagos (Nigeria) conveying over 300 people developed an electrical fault in Mid-air. I got this info from someone on the flight and i am suprised that it’s not in the news.

I heard about it yesterday when a work colleague of mine was narrating the entire story to me and another guy in his car. According to him, he was on the flight that faithful day..it was a night flight and he was listening to music from his Ipod when he perceived a foul burning odor, he thought the white man sitting next to him had farted but he knew it something more serious when he noticed people panicking.

He pulled his headphones and asked the white guy sitting next to him why people where panicking, all the white man was saying was ’’this plane is going to crash! This plane s going to crash!..all of a sudden the lighting system in the aircraft went off…everyone was mad with fear.. some started praying others brought out their blackberries and started pinging, some started calling loved ones and telling them their last wishes.

The captain then announced that the plane had developed an electrical fault and they were going to have an emergency landing. The pilot then turned the plane around and headed back to South africa, My colleague then revealed that it was then he saw 2face Idibia walk past him and when he looked back he saw the popstar talking and calming his crew down, telling them not to panic.

After 45 minutes, the captain announced that they were going to ‘dump the fuel’ i.e remove all the jetfuel on the plane, this is a precautionary step taken by pilots whenever a plane is going to crash or whenever there is a risk of fire. As they were about to land….another problem came up…the captain announced that the tires of the plane could not come out..by then everyone on the plane had given up.

Miraculously, the tires came out and the plane successfully landed and the passengers were evacuated. My colleague then said that himself and other passengers were taken to the arrival lounge, that was when he met Tony Anenih’s wife,Josephine, they talked and exchanged cards.

After much investigation, it was a kettle that sparked in the kitchen that affected the whole electrical system of the plane. According to my colleague a lot of Nigerians including senators constituted the bulk of passengers.

Meet Nigeria And West Africa’s First Female Military Pilot

She was commissioned as a Combat Flying Officer alongside 126 others who finished the Direct Short Service Course 2010/2011 Cadets of the 325 Ground Training Group at the Nigerian Air Force Base, Kaduna.

Present at the winging ceremony (badge decoration) was the then Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Mohammad Dikko Umar who described her training as a ‘very laudable achievement‘.

She was quite excited and proud to have made history and said: “It is very uplifting and I feel very proud of myself though it has been very challenging. Coming from the civil war and the civil mentality, the Air Force has done a great job because it has changed our orientation. I believe that all females have equal opportunity to dignify their rights in whatever adventure they choose they can do.”

‘As a first female pilot I would want to make a mark that would encourage other females to join the military because I believe that all females have equal opportunity to exercise their rights in whatever they choose to do, I believe that all female Nigerians who choose to become pilots can do it since I have done it.

This is a remarkable achievement, one that should drive our ladies to know and see themselves as been able to achieve the impossible and break the so called glass ceiling in any sphere you find yourself

UNBELIEVABLE!! Man Catches Girlfriend Having Sèx With His 16 Year Old Son

A man who set up a video camera to film ghosts in his home had the fright of his life - when he busted his live-in girlfriend having sèx with his 16-year-old son.

Footage he hoped would reveal signs of paranormal activity in his Tasmania, Australia, house instead showed his two loved ones kissing and then having intercourse.

He confronted his 28-year-old lover - who'd lived with him for 11 years and is the mother of his young child - but she played down the October 2012 incident.

However, his son confessed to having sèx with her three times in the preceding days.

And in the following weeks, it emerged they went on to have sèx several times in a hotel room.

The man called cops. Officers questioned his partner, who admitted to having sèx with the boy and knowing he was 16.

She claimed to think the age of consent was 16, when it is actually 17, and said she was "ashamed and embarrassed" by her conduct.

The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to underage sèx at the state's Supreme Court on Monday.

The Hobart Mercury reports she will be sentenced next week.

Eminem Sues Facebook

The popular social networking site Facebook has been hit with a lawsuit from Eminem and his publishing company Eight Mile Style LLC due to what is believed to be the unlawful use of the Detroit rapper and D12’s collaboration “Under The Influence.”

According to AllHipHop.com, the lawsuit states that Facebook posted a Wieden + Kennedy ad, which promoted their new Facebook Home app and in the ad the music used is believed to be “Under The Influence.” An altered version of the ad was then released, but according to the lawsuit the edit was then taken as Facebook’s acknowledgement of the unapproved use of Eminem and D12’s song.

“The alteration of the Airplane advertisement was an admission that Facebook knew it had infringed on the Eminem/D12 Composition,” states the lawsuit.

Ironically, Eminem’s lawsuit states that Facebook and Wieden + Kennedy’s response to the cease and desist order, which was initially placed, called out Dr. Dre although the mega-producer did not produce or have any involvement with “Under The Influence.”

“Counsel falsely and wrongfully alleged that Andre Young, professionally known as Dr. Dre, composed ‘Under the Influence,’” read the lawsuit. “Yet, a simple Internet search of the Eminem/D12 Composition would have revealed that ‘Under the Influence’ was composed by Marshall Mathers, III, and members of D12, including Denaun Porter, Von Carlisle, Ondre Moore, R. Arthur Johnson, and DeShaun Holton. Dr. Dre likewise did not produce ‘Under the Influence.’”

At this time, Eminem and Eight Mile Style LLC are suing Facebook and the company that created the ad for $150,000 per infringement.

Only those who don't know Buhari will be bothered. That guy has near zero tolerance for democratic practices and systems. He only sees democracy as a possible route to power that he covets more than anything else.

Nigerians should thank God the man is no longer in the military. Otherwise...."fellow countrymen following the insurgency in the north and the inability of President Jonathan to contain it with military dispatch and impunity, we have decided to save the country blah blah". Those with myopia will clap!

Fact 1. Buhari's military and Shagari's civilian regimes killed over 5000 Islamic insurgents known then as Maitatsine. Under Buhari's watch the Maitatsines decimated by Shagari resurrected again and held the country to ransom for months. Their leader was killed exactly same way Yaradua killed Yusuf of Boko Haram.

2. Fact number 2: Buhari's Katisina has always been a breeding ground for islamic extremists and as recently as last week 10 Boko Haram fighters were killed in Buhari's hometown Daura.

3. Buhari was once quoted (he said misquoted) as having asked Muslims to only vote muslims and not accept leadership of unbelievers in Nigeria. It took more than 8 years for Buhari to clarify that report. And that's because it was used against him during an election round. Can you guess why he never bothered with clarification for so long? Before you make the guess, think about Mallam Shekau of Boko Haram saying that Jonathan must convert or resign.

If you misquote me on an issue that aligns with my private view, I just won't bother clarifying in a hurry and risk mixed messages to my fellowers that I have already mobilized.

4. Is a military head of state removed from office without a shot being fired actually strong with security? At least bullets were fired to remove Shagari but guns were threatened, not even brought out and Buhari went back to Daura to pray and mobilize Almajirins.

When did he become a security expert please?

5. Why is Buhari scared of condemning Boko Haram and using strong language like "dogs and baboons" to describe them? Does he not see them as dogs and baboons whose blood should be shed for Nigeria to have peace?

6. Doesn't this quote expose Buhari's mindset?
“When the Niger Delta militants started their activities in the South-South, they were invited by the late President Umaru Yar’adua. An aircraft was sent to them and their leaders met with the late President in Aso Rock and discussed issues. They were given money and a training scheme was introduced for their members. But when the Boko Haram emerged in the north members of the sect were killed,”

Please why did Buhari kill over 3000 Maitatsine sect members instead of sending aircrafts to them and/or arranging money/training for them?

Could it be a sign of metamorphosis from National leader to a sectional Islamist leader? Or was he always that way and IBB was right when he overthrew him and alleged religious intolerance in high places during Buhari's regime?

By the way, didn't Yaradua attack the militants before sending "aircrafts" to them? Did Buhari complain when Camp 5, Escravos, Warri, Odi, Okochiri etc were leveled by Yar'adua?

7. “In Bama and Baga towns, military personnel were reported to have been engaged in extortion and sometimes Molesting of women.
And because a soldier was killed in Baga the whole town was sacked by military. This is not the best way military should have acted when they were sent to restore law and order in a town. How can a responsible government allow its people to be killed in this way,”

Really, did Buhari say this? Can he explain how over 5000 Maitasine fighers and civilians were killed in 1984?

8. “Whoever is sent to protect people should also protect their integrity."

Is this line not an attempt to divide the military and cause blue on blue actions?

9. "And even during civil war we that fought in the war were given a copy of code of conduct bookwhich guided us against killing innocent people"

Really General Buhari? How do you explain the death of over 3m civilians during the war including those massacred after the war?

General sir, what happened at Asaba, Benin and Calabar between 1969 and 70? Were those massacred in cold blood dogs and baboons? Haba Mallam!

Let me just say that our President have "spoken", the national assembly "sparked" and the people are speaking. We are watching the unfolding drama including the Daura Boko Haram conflict with the military. A little explanation on how those terrorists were incubated in Daura will be welcomed. 
But by and large, while we don't know who will be Nigeria's President in 2015 we know who will NEVER be Nigeria's President. He also knows himself and is welcome to carve out a niche for himself among terrorists.

Why Naeto C Left Storm Records

According to a report from thenetng, Rapper Naetochukwu Chikwe better known as Naeto C has ended his relationship with Storm Records, the music home where he launched his career into the Nigerian music market.

The reason, however is not strange as the rapper revealed his plans to fully launch his WKG/Cerious Music label in a matter of months.Unlike the many breakups that have preceded Naeto’s, the rapper’s exit is not battlemented; both parties have been very silent about the issue.

As a matter of fact, Storm Records insist that the rapper is still signed with them.One of the label’s directors Tola Odunsi admits that Naeto has had his own record label Cerious Music for a while but is still with Storm.

Naeto joined Storm Records in 2006, returning from the US where he had already formed a rap group with close friend Ikechukwu and his younger brother Uzikwendu called ‘World Famous Akademy’.

With the smash hit single ‘Kini big deal’, he released his debut album ‘You Know my P’ in 2008; parted ways with Ikechukwu who left Storm in 2010 and then released a successful second album ‘Super C Season’ in February 2011.

Storm Records headed by Obi Asika and Olisa Adibua (the pair are currently in a legal battle) have in the past signed an impressive long list of acts including Jazzman Olofin, Darey, GT the Guitarman, 2shotz, General Pype.

They currently have on their roaster rappers Sasha, Yung6ix, Pop singer Ms Jaie, Urban-Pop group L.O.S and gospel singer Tosin Martins.

Don Jazzy's Mavin Crew To Perform At BBA Season 8

Don Jazzy will lead members of his Mavin Records artiste, excluding Tiwa Savage and Dr Sid, in a performance at the opening ceremony of the Big Brother Africa season 8 show to be held in South Africa this Saturday.

On May 26, the reality TV show will kick off with the unveiling and admittance of the competition's housemates into the Big Brother House. 

D'Prince and Wande Coal will join Don Jazzy in giving out scintillating performances at the ceremony. 

Others to perform at the event are South Africa’s leading Afro Pop music group, Mafikizolo, and Kenyan stand-up comedian Daniel Ndambuki, popularly known as Churchill.

The show is still the biggest Africa's reality TV competition with audience drawn from most countries in the continent.

Mercy Johnson Says Thank You To Fans

This month, star actress Mercy Johnson resumes work; she is back on location with director and producer, Elvis Chucks. This is MJ’s first job after giving birth in December.

In the past months of Mercy’s ‘absence’ she gave birth to her first child, Purity, moved into a new mansion with her husband, Prince and  won the Best Actress in comedy at the maiden edition of Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA).

Work-wise, she has continued to generate interest as many producers and a couple of corporate organization are in discussion with her for movies and other business. She’s returning on the heels of the record set by Dumebi, the dirty girl, the enviable record of being the highest selling.

D’Prince Sacks Tiwa Savage’s Fiance As Manager

D’Prince has sacked the fiance of his label mate at Mavin Records, Tiwa Savage, Tee Billz, as his manager.

Before now, Tee Billz was the manager of D’Prince, which is no more the case at the moment.

“For further bookings and enquiries, please contact my new management, Sunday Are of List Entertainment,” D’Prince recently tweeted on his twitter page indicating the sack of Tiwa Savage’s lover, Tee Billz.

Sunday Are used to manage the artistes under the defunct Mo’Hits Records co-owned by Don Jazzy and D’Banj. Are seized to manage the artistes after the split.

It was gathered that other artistes under Mavin Records are still managed by their managers.
